OOTD: Stripe Dress

I got this stripe dress from Gap a while ago but had a difficult
deciding if i wanted to keep it or not.. mainly b/c i dislike
any horizontal stripe going across my lower half area..
how do you guys feel about stripes all over?
is it a complete no-no for someone who is NOT a size zero?
let me know in the comments, would love to hear your thoughts!

dress: gap (similar here) // chambray: f21 // bag: jcrew (similar here) //
belt & shoes: h&m // watch: michael kors // bracelets: jcrew & hrhcollection

I love this! I tried on the same dress at gap and passed because I couldn't justify full price. I'm so kicking myself because I never found another I liked and you look so stinking cute in it!

I think with these particular stripes, and the belt to highlight your waist, it's a do!

I think it's really cute! I can't see how anyone could go wrong with a striped dress, especially when it is layered like you styled it! 🙂

I think you look great. I'm generally a fan of stripes, i love how you paired the chambray top underneath.

First of all, I think you look beautiful and you are rocking that dress!
I just posted an outfit with horizontal strips (a skirt) and was feeling a bit self-conscious about it, but you know what? It's my body and yes, I have wide hips. 🙂
The way I see it, keep the dress!

Pshh, girl, you're rocking the dress. I like the addition of the belt because it helps define your waist. I'm imagining different spacing between stripes, but can't figure out if the bigger the bag, the "wider" a person looks. Regardless, the spacing of yours is perfect.
