Confession:
I am photo perfectionist…
Ok, I am LOVING this dress. It is so perfect for the spring and summer warm weather. The cut of the dress is very flattering and you all know how much I’m a huge fan of v-necks. This dress and this darling beach bag is a recent purchase and still available in stores now.
Thank you so much for your sweet comments the other day regarding my mini meltdown. So happy to have friends that can relate to my blogging frustrations. =) One specific frustration I have to blogging are my photos.. My husband is my photographer and he is NOT a professional nor is it a hobby for him… it is literally something he does specifically for my blog only and I am so thankful for him taking his time out to photograph me…. but sometimes we bicker because the photos don’t come out as good as I want them to… This specific photo session, the sun kept popping in and out and the wind was blowing – I’m sure you have all experienced this and know that any slight movement or change in lighting can cause blurriness as you may see above.. Now normally, I wouldn’t post these photos online. I would delete them and re-shoot the outfit but I posted them specifically to show you how imperfect my skills are and how this is just another frustrating thing that comes with blogging.
Your photos always look great! You're so lucky your hubby offers to take your pictures (mine not so much ha ha). Hopefully one day I can convince him to do it 😉 xoxo

thanks babe! Hehehe my hubby doesn't like it but he has no choice, i make the rules lol =)
I genuinely find this hilarious because 1. I can relate SO frickin' much and 2. I honestly think these are beautiful photos and can't even begin to understand why you wouldn't love them which makes me think "oh, maybe I shouldn't be so hard on myself"
Both you and your husband do a fabulous job when it comes to your photos. Honestly, the reason I was so drawn to your insta at first was because the images were always so clean, pretty, consistent and uplifting.
My husband is the very same as yours when it comes to taking pics and used to always shoot specifically for me (the poor guy – we often got into silly arguments because I'd be like; "these don't look like Cupcakes and Cashmere's photos" or "my hands look fat!" TSK!) but I recently had to hire a photog because he now has more responsibilities at work and I still find myself hating things about these new shots. I think it's because us ladies are so used to being SO hard on ourselves!!!
