Excited to share this mommy and me Valentine’s day outfit today.
Valentine’s day is literally around the corner…Do you have your outfits picked out for this day of love? If not, let me recommend not going with the traditional pink and red because i’m sure everyone will be wearing those colors. If you remember last year’s post here and here, we went for a purple and lavender color theme. This year, Rylie and I are going with black and white and pairing it with our favorite tulle skirts! I don’t think Valentine’s Day has to always be red and pink right?
The other day I was reading through someone’s else’s feed of comments and I came across a rude one. They wrote, “a woman in her 30’s should not be wearing a tulle skirt.” I read that and immediately thought, “what rubbish!” (I’ve been watching a lot of ‘Ladies in London’ btw). That’s just ridiculous! I plan on being an old asian lady wearing tulle skirts when I’m in my 70’s! How can you resist them!? They’re so pretty, girly, fun and I don’t think there is an age limit to wear them. I have always loved tulle skirts and now that I can twin with my mini me, I think I love them even more– which brings me to a question I must ask. At what age should I stop twinning with my mini me?! Can we just dress alike forever?
