Summer Outfit: Striped Midi Dress & Tote
Today I’m bringing you another summer outfit with Nordstrom. See my first outfit here where I’m wearing shorts and a flutter cami. Dresses are my go-to and more specifically, I really like midi and maxi dresses. This dress is the perfect midi length hitting my calves (i’m 5’5 and I’m wearing a M for reference) and the fit is slightly a-line for a flattering share. I also really like the v-neck line which also helps elongate your shape. Best part about this dress is that it’s less that $50!
My bag is one that I’ve been eyeing for a while. I’ve been lusting after a goyard saint-louis bag for years but the price is too steep for my liking so this one from Nordstrom has been in my radar for quite some time. I really like the soft pale blue and grey design– I normally don’t like patterns in my handbag but the subtle design and colors makes this bag easy to wear with multiple outfits.
I had a recent desire to change things up with my instagram feed. I realized that I’m not very open in my instagram which is quite odd because in person, I’m an open book. Something about social media scares me to be very vague and closed off– but I don’t want to be. When I read instagram posts from my friends Karla and Erin, I’m always so encouraged at their openness and honesty. They’re not afraid to be vulnerable to strangers who may criticize or judge them. I envy that and being vulnerable is something I’ve been wanting to do for quite some time on my feed. I’m not sure how open I’ll be, but I hope to take baby steps so that you can get to know the real me.
