Sharing three new Friday Favorites beauty products I would highly recommend.
See my last favorites list here.
From what I have heard, this product is VERY popular in Japan. It’s in almost every drug and convenient store. This cleanser has changed my life! Ok not really but I’m so in love with it. This is the kind of cleanser I would recommend to people who aren’t into beauty routines as well as for people who love skincare. It’s such an innovative product and it makes me excited to wash my face every morning and evening. The cleanser comes in a powder form in these little pods (32 capsules total). Open and pour the entire powder pod into your hands. Then run a little bit of water into the powder and begin rubbing your hands together to create a rich lather. The cleanser will foam up easily and it feels luxurious! I personally think that this is a good budget-friendly dupe to the Tatcha Rice Enzyme Powder which retails for $65. My face feels clean and SUPER SOFT afterwards! I think it does a great job cleaning by getting rid of oil, dirt and dead skin. It doesn’t dry out or irritate my skin and it is without fragrance.
Over the last few years I have been dedicated to my Shiseido Benefiance Eye Cream $60 and believed that there was nothing better or comparable. Well I proved myself wrong because I am officially marking this eye cream as holy grail status. The texture is amazing and it feel so good when applied under your eye. I have been using this eye cream exclusively for the last month, morning and night with zero complaints. It wears beautifully under make-up and it keeps your eye area moisturized and hydrated throughout the night. It’s not as heavy and thick as the Shiseido which is why I can wear it during the day under make up– there’s no slipping and sliding of my concealer. The best part is this product is vegan and cruelty free.
This is another Japanese product that is a must. For years I have been using the Beauty Blender cleanser $18 to wash my sponge and brushes but I didn’t think the cleanser was all that great. I was watching a beauty youtuber rave about this ‘detergent‘ from Daiso and I quickly hauled myself to the local Japanese Beauty store. For your information, I couldn’t find this product at my local Daiso so I’m guessing that it is exclusive to the Daiso’s in Japan? Who knows, you might be lucky. I paid around $5 and immediately put it to the test. Normally it takes me about 10 mins to deep clean my beauty blender because its THAT gross and dirty. However, no matter how much elbow grease I put into it, I can never fully wash out all of the foundation stains. This ‘detergent‘ did the job in half the time and got rid of all of the makeup stains. My beauty blender was ‘BRAND NEW status’ clean and I was amazed! I will no longer buy other cleansers as this ‘detergent‘ has become my number one!
That’s it for this week. Tell me friends, have you guys tried any of these products? If so, what are your thoughts? If you happen to try any of these three items, please let me know your experience and opinions as I would love to know. I hope you have a lovely Memorial day weekend! *muAh*
