Favorite Spots in Oahu, Hawaii Part II
We’re heading back to Oahu next month so of course, I’m writing about my trip from this past March! I know, I’m always 6 months behind! You can see my last “Favorite Spots” post here, and my “Best Instagram Spots” post here.
Waikiki Beach, Surfjack Hotel Olive & Oliver, Haleiwa Acai Bowls, Leonards Bakery
Kakaako Street Murals
(Tantalus Look Out)
Banan Frozen Yogurt, Ko’olina Lagoons
Back in March my family and I traveled to Oahu, Hawaii for our bi-annual family vacation. If you’ve been following me for a while then you know how much we love Oahu. This trip was a little different from the past because the weather was really off. The temperature was around 70’s and the ocean water was cold that we barely went in to swim. It was quite disappointing. According to the locals, this was their longest winter.
OUR USUAL HANG OUT’S:
We lounged at our favorite beach, Lanakai and the Ko’Olina Lagoons.
We made our must stop pit stop to Haleiwa Bowls and then picked up some caffeine at Olive & Oliver.
Of course we spent half at the Kakaako Murals to take photos of their newest walls
and we couldn’t leave the island without dropping by Disney Aulani for some yummy mickey spam musubi & shaved ice.
NEW SPOTS WE DISCOVERED THIS TRIP:
Tantalus Lookout. If you want to see a beautiful view of Honolulu, definitely stop by this lookout point.
We loved the food at Piggie Smalls & the yummy banana froyo from Banan. If you’re in the North Shore definitely try Cafe Haleiwa and instead of going to Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck, try Romy’s– we found their food to be better quality than Giovanni’s.
