Travel Must Haves For Kids
If you’re traveling with a toddler, you need to get this! This thing is amazing! We tend to go to beaches that don’t have public restrooms (if they do have restrooms, it’s not the cleanest) so this comes in handy! Your child can handle their business in the cup and the liquid magically turns into gel so there is absolutely no spilling. The best part is, it’s odorless! We like to keep this in the car for emergencies.
The more independent Rylie is, the easier my life is. This step stool folds flat and fits nicely into our suitcase and doesn’t weight that much. We put this step stool in the bathroom so that Rylie can wash her hands and brush her teeth all by herself. It’s so nice not having to lift her up all the time.
Going along with step stool above, I like to take this toddler water spout b/c sometimes the faucet is far and Rylie can’t reach the water. This spout extends the water so that Rylie can reach and wash her hands by herself.
We love this toddler headphone! It fits Rylie perfectly without slipping off. She uses this on the airplane with her iPad and in the early mornings when she wakes up before us. She’ll play by herself and play on her iPad quietly– allowing Eric and I to sleep in a little bit.
In the past I used to bring basket beach bags which I quickly learned was NOT practical! They take up so much room and are often heavy. I discovered this mesh beach bag a few months ago and it’s the best. It folds up nicely to fit in your suitcase and it’s so big that it fits all of our towels and beach toys. I really like the mesh b/c it allows the sand to spill out at the end of the day!
I’ve already spoken about these products in my previous travel essentials– you can read here.
