Ruby is now 4 weeks old and I thought it would be a great time for me to share my ‘Must-Haves for Newborns’.
The first item I want to share with you is this baby scale. I had a difficult time feeding Rylie due to low milk supply so we bought this baby scale to see just how much milk she was getting from me. I’m so happy we kept it because it’s very helpful to know exactly how much your baby is eating.
This baby nail trimmer is a must! I had a major accident with Rylie when she was a baby– I was using an infant nail clipper and I accidentally cut her skin. It was so traumatizing for me that I have never cut her nails again to this day (she’s 5 and my husband still cuts her nails). This nail trimmer is very user friendly and wont hurt your baby. It’s such a great buy for newborns– you have to keep their nails short and filed b/c they can scratch up their face.
These mommy hooks are the best for your stroller. Of course you can’t hang anything too heavy like gallons of milk– it’ll tip your stroller over…. but I’ve never had an issue with (apparel) shopping bags.
I use these organic towels to wash Ruby during bath time. They are SUPER SOFT– trust me!
Lastly I want to share this nest head support. I use this head support whenever Ruby is awake or is taking a short nap outside of her bassinet. Because she’s always on her back this nest helps with supporting your little one’s head and neck. I think it also helps with preventing a flat head. I used this with Rylie too.
