Travel Essentials #2
Our family vacation is coming up so I wanted to share a few new items I’m taking along with me. You can read my last Travel Essentials Here.
Waterproof Baby Carrier— I was searching for a waterproof carrier and came across this one. First of all I love that it’s so compact. Unlike the Ergo (my favorite and most comfortable baby carrier) this one folds up nicely in it’s little pouch.
Easy Pop-Up Beach Tent— Since Ruby is coming along with us on this trip I wanted a little tent for her to take naps while on the beach. I found this one which packs up nicely in it’s pouch (fits in our carryon suitcase). You don’t need any tools b/c it literally just pop’s up and can easily fold back up.
Jelly Fish Sting Remedy— We noticed a lot of jelly fish during our last trip so I’m taking this sting remedy just in case. According to the local news there will be a day during our trip where jellyfish are expected to surface. I don’t want to take any chances.
Waterproof Cellphone Case— This case is an upgraded version for newer iPhones with the touch home button.
Travel Booster Seat— Normally we rent a car seat for Rylie but since she’s taller she can sit in a booster seat. Instead of paying $15/day to rent we decided it would be more cost effective to buy this one. I love how compact it is and it does the perfect job of adjusting the car seatbelt to fit any kid. The ONLY negative thing is that Rylie doesn’t like being short– she can’t see out the car window b/c the seat is flat (she can deal for a week). Other than that, I think it’s perfect for travel and it fits into my handbag!
