These Might be the First Screens of Tim Schafer's New Adventure Game
Published on January 01, 0001
A few hours ago, Double Fine uploaded a clip on Vimeo. It had some interesting imagery in it. Of what looks a lot like the company’s new, Kickstarter-funded adventure game https://kotaku.com/why-the-internet-gave-this-man-1-million-in-a-single-5883864 The clip has since been taken down, but reader Corey was quick enough to grab some screenshots. Given the fact I haven’t seen the video, yono business we can’t confirm
if they’re just ideas, mock-ups or are indeed actual screens.(new Image()).src = 'https://capi.connatix.com/tr/si?token=995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c&cid=872d12ce-453b-4870-845f-955919887e1b'; cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c" }).render("79703296e5134c75a2db6e1b64762017"); }); Assuming they’re actual screens, though, how
do rummy meet you think it’s looking? I like it. Yet, I don’t know why, but I was expecting something a bit more pixellated
UPDATE – OK, seems they’re from a video intended for backers of the Kickstarter fund, where Double Fine artist Lee Petty is trying to nail
down a visual style for the game. So, it’s not nailed down. That being the case: you hear me, Petty? More pixels! UPDATE 2 – Now with video, which to reiterate, is just of Double Fine messing joy rummy around. So no, your hard-earned money is not going towards a Flash game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKYrL6fLdvY
