Up on the Roof
Published on January 01, 0001
This week’s challenge comes again from Kotaku’s travels, but fear not, we’re not doing cosplay exploitables
again. We’ll shelve that idea for a while. This time, we’re gonna throw a roof party for Nintendo of America’s super-duper green headquarters(new Image()).src = 'https://capi.connatix.com/tr/si?token=995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c&cid=872d12ce-453b-4870-845f-955919887e1b'; cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c" }).render("79703296e5134c75a2db6e1b64762017"); }); https://kotaku.com/the-coolest-things-in-nintendos-american-headquarters-5834386 That is one of the few images we were authorized to show of Nintendo’s home turf—get it?—in Redmond, Wash. What you’re looking at is a ” living roof” covered in something called Sedum, 75,000 square feet of it. The stuff helps insulate the building and divert rainwater for clean filtering back into the environment.
Looks boring up there, right? That’s where you come in. Liven up the joint, or put something enormous in the background. Stephen says this is facing north, so that is Canada over the horizon. You don’t have to use Nintendo-themed images in your ‘shop; anything will do, so long as it’s funny. If you need inspiration, remember that Valve, Microsoft, NCSoft, Bungie and many others all have headquarters in the area.

now Iron Butterfly will provide a six-minute organ solo while we read the rules. 1. Create your ‘Shop. 2. Upload it to a free image hosting service. I suggest imgur. It’s stupid simple. No account is necessary. 3. This is very important: You must use the URL of the image itself. In imgur, this is the second URL it gives you after you upload the image. It’s under “Direct Link (email & IM)” 4. At the beginning of the comments roll, click “Start a New Thread” 5. To the right of your name, select “Image.” 6. Paste the imgur URL in the image URL field. It’s the field that says “Image URL.” 7. [[link]] You can add editorial [[link]] commentary if you want, but then just hit submit and [[link]] your image will load. If it doesn’t, paste the image URL as a comment. 8. This is important: Keep your image size under 1 MB. It will not upload to comments if it is over that
size. What’s more, we’re getting reports that if your ‘Shop is more than 1000px tall (vertical), it won’t upload. If you’re getting the broken-image icon, try resizing to a smaller dimension. As an added inducement, I want to let you know I do star commenters who send in worthy/funny submissions – whether or not they’re chosen for the final 20. This may not happen immediately. I usually start rounding up a gallery by the middle of the week. This is my subjective call, but I do want to recognize as many contributors as possible, and show gratitude for making this such a popular feature on weekends. Now, Gentlemen, start your ‘shopping!

I love the overall aesthetic of the platform. The animations, visual effects, and sound design make the gaming experience more dynamic and immersive. It's one of the reasons I keep coming back. The mobile interface is smooth and intuitive. I can play all my favorite slots on the go without experiencing any lag or glitches. The design is responsive and user-friendly, which makes gaming on my phone just as enjoyable as on my computer. The progressive jackpots are thrilling, and it's exciting to watch the jackpot amounts grow as more players spin the reels. I hope they add even more jackpot slots because it adds a lot of excitement to the gameplay.
